  • Dakota Hunting and Retrieving Club of Sioux Falls, SD- The Dakota Hunting Retriever Club (DHRC), was formed in 2002 by people who were interested in training their dogs for actual hunting situations and not just field trial situations. We are a family oriented organization interested in exchanging ideas on different and better ways to train our dogs.
  • FirearmsID.com- This web site will be focusing on just one of the disciplines of Forensic Science, Firearms Identification
  • Long-Range.com- Until very early in 1999, no website and/or forum existed that dealt specifically with or promoted the NRA Long-Range, International Fullbore and F-Class shooting disciplines. A venue was needed where shooters could exchange ideas, discuss the latest technical data, post current match information and get up-to-date info from the leaders in the sport.
  • National Shooting Sports Foundation Bullet Points- "Our purpose is to provide trusted leadership in addressing industry challenges and in delivering programs and services to meet the identified needs of our members."
  • Regulations.gov- you can find, review, and submit comments on Federal documents that are open for comment and published in the Federal Register, the Government's legal newspaper. As a member of the public, you can submit comments about these regulations, and have the Government take your views into account.
  • Varmint Hunters Association- The club was founded in 1991 for the benefit of those shooters who seek the highly refined accuracy necessary for the taking of smaller game at longer distances. Predator hunters are also a primary area of focus for the organization and its magazine.

  • The Coaches Corner: Shooting and NutritionThis article was originally written for competitive shotgun shooters, however HQ Moody, NRA National Coach Trainer, indicates that this nutritional guidance is well suited for training programs and any type of competitive or recreational shooting. • MOA ConverterFrom fellow member Gregg Simmon from the Mobridge, SD area:
"A year ago I had a need to calculate Minute of Angle measurements when creating various different sized targets for our Black Powder Cartridge Long Range “Gong” matches that we hope to sponsor this summer. As I was working on this project I decided that it would be one heck of a lot easier if I wouldn’t have to be punching in a bunch of numbers on a calculator so I decided to create the attached spreadsheet. It works beautifully for me."
    Gregg notes,
"It would require the end user to have Microsoft’s Excel on their computers. It does NOT work with the version of Excel that is bundled with Microsoft’s Works package."
